Rotational Momentum Formula

The rotational momentum of a sphere with uniform density is:

Lrot = 0.8*pi * MR2 / Trot.
Example 1: The rotational angular momentum of the Earth is
Lrot = 0.8*pi * MR2 / Trot
Lrot = 0.8 * 3.141592653589793 * (5.9722 x 1024 kg)(6.371 x 106m)2 / (8.64 x 104 s)
Lrot = 7.051405183193606 x 1033 kg m2 s-1
